| Description |
My client, based in Derby, is looking for an Experienced Electrical Engineer to join their team.
Although primarily based in Derby, some travel will be required - therefore a flexible attitude to work/working hours.
You will be carrying out modifications/installations to a variety of train systems such as Doors, Lighting, HVAC.
Working to Railway Group Standards at all times along with Specifying and Sourcing components from Suppliers.
You will be working to tight deadlines. Fault-finding and testing installed components and Writing Test procedures. |
| | Skills |
* Minimum 3-5 years experience within an electrical engineering environment
* Knowledge & Experience of UK Railway vehicle electrical engineering including an understanding of vehicle wiring diagrams, schematics and modification procedures
* Experience of working with ROSCO's, TOC's or LUL
* Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and Strong problem solving capabilities
* Knowledge & experience of the UK trains market
* Accurate approach to work with the ability of self-checking and managing own workload
* Ability to work as part of a team |

| Must be educated to at least HNC/HND standard in relevant discipline

| | Up to £35k per annum, depending on experience |
